About Me

My name is Sarah and I'm a GP in an unspecified location in England. I have two children - Jamie, born in November 2004, and Katie, born in November 2007 - and one husband, Barry, who's an at-home dad. This blog is partly about my life, and partly about my opinions on various topics, of which I have many.

Comments policy: If you want to comment, please do. I love getting comments. Don't worry if the post you wish to comment on is an old one - Typepad will still bring the comment to my attention, so I'll see it no matter how old the post. I'm afraid I am completely hopeless at responding to comments, but I can promise you that it will be read and duly pondered.

The exceptions to the I-love-comments rule are spam, which will be deleted and reported, and unpleasant or insulting comments, which I will, on a case-by-case basis, give careful consideration to deleting. I actively welcome comments that disagree with my own views - that's what keeps life interesting. I will never delete a comment simply because the views expressed disagree with mine. I simply expect you to keep it civil. If that's a problem for you, go start your own blog and put what you like on there.
